One of my favorite things to do is capture candid, acoustic, live performances on film. Find an inspiring location, a discreet placement for a microphone, and have the artist play through the song perhaps only once, and generally no more than three times. That way we get an audio take that they pick, and I get the chance to float around them with the camera and capture the setting in a variety of ways. This tune is a new song by my good friend and neighbor Sarah Sample. I called up another friend who had an old barn on his property that we could use. Mother Nature cued up some grey, vibey cold weather, and it all just fell into place. Hope you enjoy it.
