Book Cover Project

This was a fun project designing a custom book cover for Betsy Pearson's latest book. She wanted something simple, yet classic, with the character front and center on the cover. I came up with this draft somewhat modeled after classic editions of the Tao that frame the cover, and place artsy flourishes in the corners, letting a paper toned layer come through instead of just white or just black, which added vintage feel and overall warmth.
